The BRETANIDE Sport & Wellness Resort is a spacious hotel complex built in Dalmatian architecture, harmoniously embedded in the southern slope, surrounded by pine forests, directly on the beach promenade and only a 5-minute walk from the most famous beach in Croatia – the Golden Horn.
The story
The Hotel Bretanide was built over 80 years and was completed in 1985.
The hotel complex was designed by the Dalmatian star architect Prof. Dinko Kovacic. His idea was to create a typical Dalmatian village.
The hotel is surrounded by a spacious green area with olive trees. In the center of the hotel complex is the piazetta with a typical fountain, surrounded by pavilions with white roofs that are connected on different levels by small alleys and a long staircase. Traditional specialty restaurants such as the Komin/Konoba round off the small village.
All these and much more are typical features that can be found in Dalmatian villages.
Where is what located?
The suites****, reception, fitness room, seminar room and the main restaurant are located in the main building.
The superior rooms**** are located in pavilions 1 and 4.
The standard rooms*** are in pavilions 2, 3 and 5.
The café, pizzeria, games room and konoba are located in the piazzetta.
The tennis courts are located above the main pavilion and the sports facilities, which include a beach volleyball court, boccia court, gymnastics court and archery range, are located adjacent to the beach promenade.
Due to the hillside location, the hotel has many steps and is difficult to access for people with motor disabilities.
